POSITION DESCRIPTION:
-Corrects errors by making appropriate changes and
rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced.
-Conducts trial
runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired
information and that the instructions are correct.
-Consults with managerial, engineering,
and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes.
-Compiles and writes documentation of program development and subsequent revisions,
inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program.
-Investigates whether networks, workstations, the central processing unit of the system, or
peripheral equipment are responding to a program's instructions.
-Defines technical
requirements, designs, develops, tests and maintains Internet advertising software.
-Develops software code, unit and integration testing.
-Uses Software Development Life
Cycle concepts including performing analysis, testing and implementation of new
applications, modules and features.
-Maintains documentation that supports system
configuration, training and user experience. Keeps the project manager apprised of status
of all phases of the project.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. One year related
experience as a Software Engineer or computer related occupation.
-One year experience
is required and must include: Video and display ad product development: Develop
innovative video ad formats and applications using Google IMA SDK and GPT API.
-Debug and optimize Google IMA SDK and HTML5 video player to maximize end user
experience and ad quality.
-Supply-side platform (SSP) development: Develop a Supply-
Side Platform (SSP) for RTB (Real Time Bidding) based programmatic ad exchange, by
using openRTB (open-source API) based on Java.
-HTML5 video player development and
optimization: Apply knowledge of Google IMA SDK, design and develop user interface
and interaction functionalities to help improve monetization performance of video ad
products.
-Digital ad market knowledge: Online advertising industry experience in Google
DFP (publisher ad server) to manage ad units and line items for customers' campaigns.
-Utilize key online advertising technology standards such as VAST, VPAID or ADS.TXT
compliance.
-Cloud service: Deploy software applications in the cloud using Amazon
Web Services Cloud (AWS S3) and CloudFront.
-Utilize AWS Simple Email Service API
to develop and manage an application to transmit automatic performance reports to
customers every month.
-Develop applications and service delivery infrastructure based
on AWS EC2 instances.
